Race information - I finally worked my way through the Runner's information PDF that they sent me. I have had a very hard time even thinking about it! So, it took me a while to get through it, but I finally did. I don't think I am going to be able to do the race tracking thing. I have procrastinated getting it set up, and now I'm afraid I won't have time to make it work! But, you can go Here and enter my bib number. I assume they will do the normal updates. It's chip timed, so should be pretty close (as in, slow!). My bib number is 113!

Started having a panic attack, so although I was totally exhausted I threw on my shoes and did a little over 3 miles. I feel much better and have learned that my neighborhood is a pain in the rear to run on garbage day.

Because I will not be home tomorrow morning as I am going riding with the boy. He *finally* called me this afternoon, and his plans changed so we are going riding tomorrow (rather than Sunday afternoon, which was my original plan). This totally puts a wrench in my plans to run 12 this weekend, but you know what? I don't care. I'll do it on Monday, pushing the stroller if I have to! We are totally going to freeze to death, though...expected temperature at meeting time is less than 40 degrees. Good thing the first half is all uphill!

rr~Got a nice 15 mile bike ride in with a friend and trailers. A few decent hills, but I didn't want to work TOO hard, since I was thinking I would be running 12 in the morning.

I really, really must work on my A&P lab tonight. 48 hours till it's due. There is no choice. Blech.

Jen, add me for the Jill Behrman 5K on October 24th . I hope I can actually "run" 3 miles by then. That is the race I PRed at last year and won my AG. Not gonna happen this year. But I am just happy to be running again .

DD2 has H1N1 AND Pneumonia. Oh joy...... Poor baby is just miserable.

DD2 is just coming down with something, too. What inevitably happens every.single.time there is illness in this house, is that once I have nursed the kids through it, then I get sick. If it follows the usual pattern it'll be hitting me just in time for my 1/2 next weekend. I HAVE to run it too, because I'll be getting my super spiffy jacket for completing the race series (of which SF was one).

I am geting ready for 15 and I am not feeling it. Hopefully coffee and getting dresssed will do the trick. My tummy is a bit upset but we run past so many gas stations usually I am fine and not even the most frequent stopper. My head has been so into training as far as eating and sleeping well, I just threw it all out the window last night. At least there is time to recover.

After my run I am heading out to get dd1 from a sleepover and helping with a macroinvertebrate survey in a swollen creek. I fell down the bank last time while wearing Linus. Alice fell in. It took me 40 minutes to convince her to take spare pants this time. That girl. Plus it is too chilly to be falling in creeks this morning.

My race is next Saturday. Stayed up way too late last night watching Sex in the City the movie with dh. WOuld have been more fun to watch the drivel by myself than to put up with his sighs about how bad the movie is. That's part of the point, isn't it -- so outrageous it's funny?

I'm gonna have to agree with kerc here, Hollysmom . The only way I can control my self-admitted computer problem is to give DH the mouse when he goes to work every morning. I have zero self-control when it comes to "just going online for a minute" .

And kerc, I've still got to give your DH a for actually agreeing to sit with you and watch the movie. My DH would have been outa there the second after the opening credits ran.

Speaking of DH, he's my hero because he spent the entire night with DD2, who coughed and coughed most of the night. All so Mama could get a little sleep. My hero!

I'm hoping to get in 3 miles of run/walk today, but not sure when given the sickness in our home.
