hot bottom at night?

I'll be new to cd'ing when Baby comes in a few weeks. Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but doesn't baby's bottom get too hot at night? For example, at night, a prefold with a cover (probably wool?) in a gown or sleeper and maybe a sleep sack (cold climate) or swaddled - Isn't that a lot of layers around her bottom? And if her diaper is wet, wouldn't that combined with the heat lead to diaper rash pretty easily? But then I don't want to leave the sleeper off and have her body be cold during nighttime feedings and changes. I'm not having my most clear thinking of pregnancy evenings, and I'm kind of hitting panic mode, so just help me not over-think and over-worry. TIA!

Okay, well, first of all, disposables don't breathe at all, so the baby's bottom would be at least as hot in a disposable as in cloth, which at least breathes a little. And wool breathes a lot--a wet diaper under a wool cover will actually get cold.

I can't explain this, but when dd was a baby she would get rashes in prefolds and PUL covers if I didn't change frequently enough during the day, but two prefolds and a PUL cover all night NEVER gave her a rash as long as I changed first thing in the morning.
