40 weeks...whose with me? - Page 2

I was 40 weeks on Thursday. Thursday I had some real, but totally irregular contractions. Yesterday I had contractions every 5 minutes ALL day. They were uncomfortable but not what I would call painful. I also started losing my plug...that was my main sign of imminent labor when I had my son. Every trip to the bathroom more comes out, and now it is getting blood streaked. Of course, with my son as soon as I had one real contraction I was holding him 10 hours later. This prodromal labor thing SUCKS!!
How different it can be the second time around. I am really hoping for my baby to come this weekend!

I'll be 40 weeks on Monday. My appointments are also on Mondays, and my MW called me this morning, making sure I was still OK, lol. I told her I was fine and there was no action and I was still pregnant. She said that she'd see me on Monday.

I was hoping for a full moon baby since DD was born on a full moon, but as the day gets closer, I'm not holding out much hope for it anymore.

MIL got into town today and will stay for two weeks, so hopefully this baby comes early in her 2-week stay rather than later, so that I can have more help afterwards, when I need it.
