October 2009 DDC, by the numbers! (updated!)

Because I am a nerd, and need things to occupy me while I chill here on the couch gestating, I am continuing with the Big Spreadsheet of October Births.

You may all be interested to know the following (or not!)
  • There are 176 Mamas in our DDC
  • Counting the babies we are all having this time, we are Mothers to over 390 children (There's a LOT of Mama Wisdom here!!!)
  • Counting the babies we are having this time, we average 2.32 babies per Mom
  • There are 40 first time moms in our DDC. 71 2nd time Moms, 28 Mommys to 3, 13 Mamas to 4, 12 Mums to 5, and 2 Mothers to 6. (SIX babies!! How do you do it ladies?! WOW!)
  • We have had 127 of our babies born so far.
  • 64 boys and 63 girls
  • We are still waiting for 49 more babies to be born (or just to check in).
  • Our most wee baby so far: 4lbs7oz, our plumpest baby so far (tied by two babies): 10 lbs 14oz
  • Our average baby weight so far: 8.03lbs
  • Our earliest baby was born 36 days before her due date. Our latest baby so far was born 17 days after his due date. On average, our babies have been born 2.7 days before their EDDs.

(this info is compiled from the stats page, due dates page, recent updates, and info from the roll call I did a while back... it may not be complete or 100% accurate! If you find something wrong on the spreadsheet, please let me know and I'll fix it)

(BIG UPDATE 10/21 -- I was wondering how many babies we are still waiting for, and I realized that we had a lot of names in our DDC of people who are not around anymore. So I searched for all of the names, and anyone who hasn't made a post anywhere on MDC in the last 3 months, or who did not respond to the "Roll Call" last month I removed from the list. So from 215 Mamas, we're down to 170. If you are out there lurking and are not listed on the spreadsheet PLEASE LET ME KNOW! I will add you in lickety-split!)

That's so cool Spiralshell! That's exactly what I've been fantasizing doing for the longest time, really counting out our numbers like that (I guess I'm a big nerd, too!) but haven't had the time. It's so fun to see our info like that. Cool! Thanks!

Seeing the numbers makes me wish that there was some kind of feasible way to have a big picnic with all of us and (once they have all arrived) our 487 kiddles! Just to have everyone in one place and get to see just how big our little community is.
Impossible, I know, but in my imagination, it would be a pretty awesome picnic!!

That WOULD be a fun picnic! How cool it would be to meet everyone in real life. That's so awesome that you were able to compile all of that info! I love seeing stuff like that, just have no time to put it together myself! Thanks!

That is so funny that you posted this. Just today I was thinking how cool it would be if we could all meet eachother's LOs in person.

Wow! Thanks for taking the time to do that; it's pretty interesting. Fellow nerd here - I am also into making tables, graphs and charts, etc.

But, Drive and energy?! hahahahahahahahahahahaha!
If you saw the state of my house, you wouldn't say that!
I'm stuck on the couch, and my numb fingers will let me type, but not write, hold a book, knit, etc..... so random computer tricks is all I can do to pass the time

Well, that's more productive than me right now, but can I claim being "just too darn pregnant" as an excuse?
