post partum lower abdominal side pain?

I'm having constant dull pain in the sides of my lower abdomen - like to the left and right of where I imagine my uterus is right now. It doesn't get better with resting or worse with nursing. I'm 4 days post partum. Is this just normal post partum stuff?

Have you talked to a health care provider about this? It's hard to tell just what/where you're talking about. Could be something like uterine ligament pain, which should pass off over a few days time. Could be "other", including possibly infection...just not sure. But it might be a good idea to have a birth professional check it out.
