What the!?

Ok, so I had my baby not even 5 weeks ago, EBF on demand, and now it looks like I'm getting my period? Ummm, I realize I'm new at this, but shouldn't I have at least a few months without it! kate does sleep sometimes 4 hours at night (one night it was 6), but she usually nurses every 2 to 3 hours tops.
My pp bleeding had stopped about ten days ago, so I'm a little confused.

Sorry! I got mine back at 6 weeks pp when I was tandem nursing!

Oh that blows! And here I am having hardly nursed at all with this munckin and no period yet. I swear I'm looking for it every stinkin' day. I almost want it to happen so at least I have an idea of what the heck is happening. That and I keep having nightmares that I'm that girl that goes to her 6wk pp check up and gets told I'm preggers (we're at almost 7 weeks now)

with my ds cameron he would breastfeed every hour day and night exclusively and my period still came back at 8 weeks pp, with my dd chloe it was 14 weeks, with dd caitlin 7 months and ds caden 13 months.
they can come back at any time as you can see with my 4 lo's.

With both my other two, I *thought* I had a period around 6 weeks, but then I didn't end up having another until I started solids (Ian, 6 months, Connor 9 months) so I don't think that bleeding at 6 weeks was a period. I think it was just the last of the post partum bleeding, maybe a scab dislodged or something. It happened both times... Maybe that's what it is for you, too!!!

Well I hope it's just a fluke! Maybe I'll be lucky and this will be it for the next 6 months! I guess I can't have all the luck, great pregnancy and delivery, super super calm baby, but bum issues (for those who read my last post, you know what I'm taking about, and STILL dealing with, and now this.. oh well!)
