Keagan's decided the he needs to eat CONSTANTLY since last night. He was nursing all night long. I dozed off while he nursed (thank goodness for cosleeping) my gosh- I hope this passes quickly!

Anyone else having fun with growth spurts?

I'm really pushing myself to remember how fleeting these few weeks really are and to embrace how intense they are. So far it's working well.

does anybody know what are the typical growth spurt weeks? i seem to recall six weeks being a growth spurt time, but i don't remember and haven't been able to find the time to look it up.

Soleil has been going through a growth spurt the last couple of days, constantly nursing, but she is sleeping now so I hope we are on the other side!! I think growth spurts are supposed to happen at 7-10 days and 3 weeks but she is two weeks and one day and this is the first I have noticed with the increased nursing and crabbiness!!

When do babies have growth spurts?
Common times for growth spurts are during the first few days at home and around 7-10 days, 2-3 weeks, 4-6 weeks, 3 months, 4 months, 6 months and 9 months (more or less). Babies don't read calendars, however, so your baby may do things differently.

To top my week of reflux, gassiness, and no poop (unitl yesterday) Sam went through his 6 week growth spurt. Boy no wonder this babe has been a nappy baby all day!

i wonder if growth spurt is a good explanation for why my 3.5 week old Sebastian has been asleep for only a few short naps totaling 3 hours in the past 10, and otherwise is nursing and pooping and peeing? Serious, non-stop nursing.
