I would be worried that if he needs GA for any reason, that they would see it as an opportunity to do it. They would figure that since he was knocked out, that it wouldn't cause the dangerous stress reaction.

Yeah, that might've been their reasoning. I just felt like, looking back, that her being a young single mom on welfare helped them feel like they wouldn't get sued, maybe. I also just realized that they must've either done it for free or charged medicaid under false pretenses-I had my son a year before her and medicaid wasn't paying for circs even then. (Which is why he is intact, lol)
