Anyone ever heard of "proof" of non-vaccination id??

A non vaxing mama friend of mine asked me a question. She wanted to know if there was some kind of form or something you could carry around to show that your kids are not vaccinated. Her concern was that she read somewhere that you could be charged or arrested for not having your child vaccinated.

Is any of this true/relevant??

I'm confused why she would want something that she thinks proves she's an unfit mother??? Maybe she means she wants proof that it was an intentional decision? If so, then whatever exemption she has filed (if she has one) could be carried around I guess, or at least easily accessible. We have a partial medical exemption for one of our sons, plus philosophical exemptions for the others, and I keep them in our fire box along with other pertinent information like birth certificates, social security cards, etc. Our one son with special needs has a near-complete medical record at home in case I have to take him to the ER, and I have his exemptions in there.

Is that what she means??

Dunno, but I like the idea. I think vaccinated people should do the same. Maybe HIV positive people while we're at it. How about immune compromised or young/old people too? Political or religious affiliation might be good too. I'm sure there are more I'm forgetting......

I could maybe understand this if it's in a kind of "medical alert bracelet" way-- in case you get hospitalized and want them to know not to give you any injections-- maybe? seems to be stretching it!

The exemptions in TN are only on file at the school no one but there knows the kids have a religious exemption. When I picked up the paper from the health dept. They just handed it to me no questions asked. I have a copy of dd's just for me but forgot to get one for ds but I can remedy that by just getting another paper and filling it out again to keep.

I think so.... She couldnt quite put it into words, but sounds like something to that extent. Where could she find these "exemptoin" forms?
