Is my milk coming in already???

I'm feeding Gavin and I'm feeling "tingly"!! I think my milk is coming in! He's only 30 hours old!

Now he did nurse literally ALL night, there were maybe 2 one-hour chunks where he pulled off. And I never weaned Connor. So I guess I should have expected it to come in quickly, but wow, this quick??

My boy was born on a Wednesday at 12:42am, by Thursday morning you could see milk dripping out of his mouth when he was done nursing, and by Thursday evening I was starting to feel full.

He's my first babe so I was surprised to see milk come in so fast, I guess he was doing a great job nursing and getting the colostrum

That happened with Grace - the LC came in the next morning, when Grace was LESS than 24 hours old and commented about her milk moustache! I was shocked.

That didn't happen with Charlotte -but C just wasn't a great nurser in the hospital, she was SO sleepy - whereas G was like Gavin....nursing forever happily. That kid could suck!

Wow, that's neat! Mine came in at almost exactly 72 hours. And Sawyer spent what seemed like a whole day on day 2 attached to me getting the colostrum.

I guess it makes a difference if you were already nursing, though.

same here, my milk came in when Cora was about 24 hours old. She nursed immediately after birth and almost literally didn't stop til the next morning, so it makes sense

i never feel let down though.

yep i'm getting my milk too... mabel kelly was born friday evening as well.

same here. babe born at 4am on a tues, milk in by wed.

with babe #1, it took 5 days!

mine came in the next day too.
Although like you, my DS never weaned and we nursed throughout the pregnancy.
With DS, my milk came in on day 5.
DS of course is very happy and just told me last night that my milk tastes very good. LOL
