I stupidly stayed up all night, till 5 am (something I never do) working on my website for my business. Does that count as a form of nesting? If so, maybe I'm not as insane as I think.
Anyway I was woken up just before 7 am by a painful contraction--the first time a contraction has ever woken me up. I stood up to go to the bathroom and felt liquid run down my leg. Pinkish bloody mucus.
I've been having contractions about 6-7 minutes apart, lasting about a minute and a half, ever since then. I tried to go back to sleep but I couldn't. I took a bath hoping that would make it stop so I could get some sleep, but it hasn't stopped. These contractions hurt, down low in my belly and all the way around my back--these are no BHs! I can't talk through them and I have to breathe and sometimes moan through them. I'm concerned enough that I think I'll call the midwives.
I'm trying not to disturb my poor DH, who was also up very late. I'm tired and worried that I'm not rested enough--I don't know how I'm going to get any sleep, but I'll try.
I never replied to all of you who left such supportive comments on my thread about breech birth last week, but thank you.
Please be thinking about me and sending me good vibes today--I'm pretty sure I'll be having this baby within the next few days, if not today!
