I think internet surfing is my biggest hobby right now, I totally like listing it as a hobby!

What kind of sewing do you do? Kids clothes, diapers? (I'm completely intimidated by my sewing machine. I like my serger, but don't get along well with my sewing machine.)

I had my machine for a few years before I really got into using it. I want a serger BAD though!! Someday when I have the extra money I'm getting one .
I've made diapers, trainers, several pants (fleece and cotton), 1 shirt, and a few skirts for my DD, and a few throw pillows. I really want to make curtains and a shower curtain and some clothes for me, but I have NO time right now...my spare time is used to sleep .

Well, I LOVE that there is another baby inside me that will grow up being so loved and adored and raised right....so many children don't have that and I get sad about it....I wish I could help them. I also love watching my belly grow each day
I would have to say I don't like feeling exhausted and sick sometimes. So far it's not too bad though
Amazing......hmmm, I guess I'm a really good mom. My daughter is happy, healthy, polite, and I've exposed her to different things. She gets lots of hugs and kisses too

What will you do for exercise during your pregnancy? Will you make snow angels this winter? I know you've got great winters up there for snow fun.

Do you like to travel? What's your most favorite place that you've been? Where haven't you been that you'd like to go most?

How long did you and your husband date? Who proposed, and how?

How has parenting changed you? Both of you individually and you as a couple?

Well I am a very sporatic exerciser and I know I need to get my butt in gear! I'm going to look for a pre-natal Pilates DVD and get to the gym a few days a week for cardio...elliptcal or treadmill. I just have to MAKE the time for it....when I'm not busy napping

What is the best piece of advice you can give to us "first timers"? What was the hardest change in your life after no. 1?

I don't travel too much now. I did in a previous life...with a boyfriend years ago who got to travel with his family. I've been to Denver, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Palm Springs, several places in Florida, Niagra Falls, Maine, Boston, NYC. I think that's it. I LOVE the gulf coast of Florida. My family used to go there for vacation every year before my sister and I started having kids and it got way to expensive for airfare .
My dream vacation is to go to Italy or Greece and stay in a house on the cliffs overlooking the water Someday when I'm old I'll get to go!

We knew each other for a few months before we took the next step and we dated about a year before he proposed....well not really a proposal, but a statement. We were just laying on the couch cuddling one day and he looked at me like he just had soooo much love for me and said "let's get married!". It was perfect About a week later he surprised me with a ring.

Being parents has really brought us closer as a couple because of the love we have for dd and the decisions that we make together. We do disagree at times, but for the most part we can work it out. He is more relaxed and I'm more anal!

Well the hardest thing for me with a new baby was not getting sleep and fretting over cleaning the house/cooking, etc. Talk about things with your DH/spouse and get things figured out as far as who will clean what, do laundry, cook what nights. My DH was a huge help for the first few months and it was a lifesaver. Make dinners before you give birth and freeze them so you can have something quick. Take care of yourself once the baby is here...EAT AND DRINK enough and sleep when the baby sleeps! Take your water bottle with you wherever you go in the house....while you're nursing, rocking baby drink drink drink! Get outside within the first few weeks, even just to sit in the sun for a bit with baby in the carrier in the shade.

What baby "must have" are you already looking forward to buying/borrowing/researching?

Have you started making plans for this birth? How do you hope it happens? What do you want to be the same, and what do you want to be different?

When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I'n DEFINITELY getting a sit and stand stroller! I think they are about $100 on Craigslist My dd will be a little over 3 when the baby is born so I'll need that for sure.

I haven't started making plans yet for the birth....I had a m/c around 12 weeks last Fall so I'll get there and then start. I hope it happens with no pain! Ha! Well, I hope I can make it through the pain...last time I didn't prepare any further than taking a class that didn't help AT ALL and I ended up with an epidural. I'm going to find things to occupy my mind instead of focusing on the pain. My DH is really supportive too so he'll be a big help. I'm going to a CNM this time vs. a doctor for the last one so I hope she has some helpful tips.
