Movies for a rainy day...

With the weather all rainy and chilly I'm in the mood to stay home and watch movies while I eat bowl after bowl of soup.

Does anyone have favorites they like in the fall or on rainy days?

One of my favs is Beyond Rangoon with all the green scenery.

I like to watch Little Woman when it's rainy, either the Winona Ryder version or the old black and white...all that New England means fall to me

Old Marx Brothers films, Robin Hood, Pride&Prejudice, Big Fish, Sense and Sensibility, Restoration, Anne of Green Gables...

...I'm not sure why these are my rainy day movies but they definitely are

Oh, Robin Hood is a good one!

It may sound weird but I also like to watch The Great Mouse Detective.

Dawn of the Dead. *sigh* I have a very serious zombie movie problem.

But I also love to watch Marie Antoinette, Titanic, and all my old 80s faves, esp. the ones with John Cusack.

What about rain-themed movies?

Blade Runner
Seance on a Wet Afternoon
Singin' in the Rain
Se7en (it NEVER STOPS RAINING in that movie!)
Monsoon Wedding
The Perfect Storm
Murder by Death
Impromptu (because of the "stupid rain" scene)
