I'm looking for hat string...the flat, about 1/4" knit kind. I tried JoAnn Fabrics, but all they had was cording, like shoelace cording. Does anyone know where I can find some online?
My ds has a hanna andersson striped pilot hat he has since he was 2 years old. He adores it but the tie strings are now about 2-3 inches long, so need to be replaced. I bought the shoelace cording, but he is not happy with that. LOL He said, "they are not flat and fuzzy, like the old ones".

Regular old shoelaces will work!
