Can I crochet wool longies?

Is it possible to crochet longies like these? http://www.greenmountaindiapers.com/...ool_longie.htm

I'm struggling to learn how to knit, but I've got passible crochet skills. Could I make something like this? Do you know where I could find a pattern?

I have not used a pattern for crocheted longies. I've winged the two or three pairs I've made from my knowledge of knit patterns.

http://www.ladybugz.ca has a couple different crocheted patterns that I've heard good things about.

No experience with either of these.

Although those longies on the link you provided look like they aren't hand knit but made out of a fine machine knit material.

Thanks SO much! I'll have to see if I can figure one of these out!

One question: I found some natural, untreated wool yarn. So if I make one of these with that, do I need to do anything to it before I use it as a diaper cover? Do I need to treat it with lanolin first? Anything else?

Thanks!!!!
