I am all over the place right now! I have a BS in biology and a MA in interdisciplinary studies. I am halfway through with TWO additional bachelor's degrees- one in natural resources and one in parks and recreation management. And I just found out that I have enough credits to get an AA in Native American Studies. I took the better part of a year off to figure out what I wanted to do with my academics, since I seem to be doing nothing but collecting credits. I am planning on going back to school this spring to either finish one of the bachelor's degrees or start a second master's. The master's will either be in environmental studies or nonformal science education.
My education has given me a great career in museum education and museum administration. I left that field after DS was born and now am working in wilderness conservation. If I pursue my second master's, I hope to use it to work on an administrative level in a nonformal education arena such as a museum, zoo, etc. or teach at a community college.
