MIL coming for visit-worried about her picking of h1n1

my mil is coming by plane for a visit she is chronically sick she got out of the hospital with bronchitis, she has had MRSA which i have been told stay with you forever, she has asthma and diabetetis and enphsyma she has it all....

Not only am I worried for her getting sick but I am worried ahe will pick this up and bring it to my two young children. We asked her to move her visit back a until the new year or maybe just wait for us to come home for a visit but she refused and stated she wil be here in a week. and she is totally pro vax so I am sure she will have the flu vax also, probably both vax, which worried me also.

Just to give you an idea how weak her immune system is, she came last june and ended up in the hospital with an infection in her lungs and a case of celulitis. I am very worried and dont know what i am going to do, i guess there is nothing to do..

I have been watching on the news that even healthy people become infected so know my family is worried she will be a carrier....
any words of wisdom to help me calm down a bit.
thanks mamas

Breath mama...it will be ok!!

If I was worried about anybody getting h1n1 it would be your MIL!!

Focus on boosting all of your immune systems...healthy levels of Vit d, probiotics, vit c and a. Cut out sugar and dairy and maintain this until after MIL is gone. If any of you do get sick, you will be fine. This flu is not any more virulent than any other flus and is proving to be fairly mild for most people. It would be your MIL who would be in danger, not you or the kids!
