Seasonal Flu Vaccine for Adults?

I am new to the whole "Vaccines are Optional" mindset. Other things I am perfectly okay with and totally support (co-sleeping, extended breastfeeding, homebirth) but vaccines were never optional or sometimes bad in my mind until the HPV one came out. So then it did, and then I actually started paying attention to vaccine articles in Mothering!

Anyways, I am not sure this thread it "allowed" per forum guidelines because the topic is adults, but I didn't know where else to realy ask that would get me a slew of pro-vaccine responses without information as to why. I have been getting the flu shot for the last six years, and in the last six years, I have never gotten the seasonal flu, nor had any adverse side effects. I am pretty young (twenties), but ever since I was a kid I would get sick 5 or 6 times throughout the winter, so cutting down the 5 or 6 to 4 or 5 was totally worth it. I still work in schools, so I am still around anything that is being spread, so I was still planning on getting one this year as well.

However, I am having trouble finding anything online about what is in this years seasonal flu shot. Anyone have any websites they can recommend? As well, how do I know if these ingredients are safe for adults, or should they be fine for me because I have never had a previous reaction?

I have also NOT gotten a flu vaccine in the last 6 or 7 years and not gotten the flu. If I HAD gottent he shot and not gotten the flu I would assume this was because of the shot.

The flu vaccine is ineffective most of the time and I don't think any of the ingredients are "safe". It is not he short-term anaphylactic reactions I worry about. It is the build up of toxic ingredients over time.

I'm 32 and I have only had the flu once in my adult life. I was 29 at the time and had just given birth 3 months earlier, and was dealing with some major emotional times. I wasn't taking care of myself the way I should have and I wasn't eating properly. I was also nursing, so baby was getting most of my reserves. I have never had the flu shot, I prefer to support my immune system. I belive that nothing not even the shot would have helped me stave off the flu that year.
