Off topic question here. What were your first beta numbers? I just got my results today and they seemed on the higher side of normal. I can't remember the exact number though. Well over 1,700.

I've got a 1 in 3 chance of twins so I am curious.

I was at 455 at 3 wks 5 days. They were up to 1300, I think, 48 hours later, right at 4 weeks.

With my first baby, I didn't wear maternity clothes until like 26 weeks. With my second, it was more like 12. We'll see when they come out this time.

They won't laugh. The clerks have told me that sometimes women that aren't pregnant at all shop there for non wire bras and longer length tanks.. but some WILL ask you your due date.

I'm 4 wks 6 days, counting from ovulation. Yesterday for the first time in nearly 2 wks I was able to get out of this hospital bed and stand with a walker. I stretched the gown across my belly just to see, cuz I know it's way too early to show, and was shocked to find my usual flat soft belly is round, hard, and my innie belly button is hard on top and beginning to pop out. When DH came to see me, I showed him. LOL He was flabbergasted a little b/c up until now, with me in the hospital, the pregnancy just doesn't seem real to him. It's like he couldn't think about it. Haha so last night/today is really the beginning of me starting to feel pregnant. It's so exciting to think about really having our own real baby. It also helps keep my mind off the pain and fear of how hard the next 9-10 wks are going to be until surgery, then after. Just concentrating on my little June bug...okay sorry for rambling as I'm typing this I'm starting to fall asleep. Those hormones must really be kicking in. Hah.

Hope everyone else is able to relax and enjoy. Nap time for me.

Yeah, I swear my belly just... isn't quite the same as it normally is. I'm still baffled by that, because it's so early. Weird.

I show early. My doctor said it's intestinal bloat - and it happens to most people to varying degrees.

Eat more fiber, drink more water, and at about 12 weeks it clears up to a larger degree.

Thanks Sonnet! I thought this had already come up, but the board is busy so I lose track easily!

Yeah but by then you'll probably be actually showing!

oh yeah...

My body definitely remembers!! I am not even 5 weeks yet and my tummy is noticeably softer and pooching! I am very thin so it is really noticeable. Actually it also makes it tough to hide as well!
