Help with nursing pads

I've been using disposable nursing pads, but I was thinking of maybe getting some cloth ones. Are cloth nursing pads absorbant? I tend to leak a lot over night, since DS sleeps through the night now. Any suggestions for some really good cloth nursing pads or should I stick with the disposable ones still? Thanks for your help! =)

Hi I only used the cloth ones and they are very absorbent, just don't use any fabric softener that will usually mess up the absorbency. I think I used the Gerber ones. Hope this helps!

I always used cloth. The Medela ones are nice. I also made my own.

I have some organic cotton, bamboo, and hemp. I like them all, but I do best (when I'm really leaky) with a wool backing. Some have the wool backing sewn on, and for the others, i just cut up a circle of felted wool, serged the edges and put it behind my pad, and that helped so I didn't soak through.

I often use the lansinoh disposables when I go out because I feel like they show the least under thinner clothes (like a fitted t-shirt).

I got some organic cotton ones at Babies R us, but I can't remember the brand. They are very absorbant and very soft on sore nips!

I always leaked through wool...I had some expensive wool and silk ones from Imse vImse, but If I had a strong letdown I'd leak right through.

just to make sure I explained myself well...I use my regular pads, plus I add wool. The wool doesn't replace the other pads. I use them together.

I love cloth! It is so soft. I put the used ones is a mesh laundry bag that I can zip up to keep them together in the wash. I usually do okay with the Gerber pads, but I have leaked through them. So I made some of these

which are very absorbant, but bulky and show through everything. I try not to wear them out and about too much, but I decided that I would rather have circles show through my shirt than milk leak through my shirt.
