Warm Smoothies?

My kids love fruit smoothies. I like them because they are easy and portable. But now that the weather is turning cold, they aren't as appealing. HAs anyone come up with a smoothie that is served warm? I have given them cups of oatmal in the car, but I would prefer something they can actually drink. The only thing I can think of is some sort of warm custard?

I've been wondering the same thing. I think you're on to something with the oatmeal. I can imagine oatmeal in the blender with more milk and some fruit could be appealing served warm.

Sounds like soup to me - I bet that could be pretty yummy.

In the winter I like to feed my boys lots of bone broths, and also cranberry juice (unsweetened) simmered with mulling spices, then I take it off the heat (so I don't cook all the goodness of the veggies out) and juiced beets, greens, and other veg. SSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOO yummy, comforting healthy.
