fortified rice milk recipe?

I have searched for different ones from time to time and even tried one *healthy* version, but it was disgusting honestly. I would like to make the kids some kind of homemade milk replacement and pump it full of all kinds of nutrients, but haven't worked on it really. I think I would have to make it a chocolate version to make it palatable to just drink plain. They really just don't drink *milk* plain unless I have something like Chocolate Hemp milk around- but that is a pretty rare occurrence due to the cost. I would like something like that- without the cost and without much effort. I did look at buying hemp seeds myself and trying to make some, but the process seemed more complex than I wanted for hemp milk and they are crazy expensive.

I never ended up fortifying mine because DD2 wouldn't drink much of it. I used it in baking though, so I suppose I could have fortified it for using that way. I tried some that used powdered rice protein and everything but that recipe was gross (it claimed to taste just like Rice Dream).

I was just thinking on doing a coconut milk recipe. I would just use your regular rice milk recipe (didn't Pat or JaneS have one?) and add some minerals, from a powdered supplement or ground up tablets ala Tanya.
