Idea for a resource thread! supplementing

I'd love to start a thread where others can share the brand/kinds/links to the supplements they have chosen (that are allergen free) and WHY (ie--better type of that mineral absorbed by the body, etc)

it would be a great place to go when someone suggests I supplement zinc for my son and I can go there and go forward with a supplement with confidence.

There are SO many things I want to be doing for my kids and know I should be--however I over-stress about getting the right kind/finding out there is some kinf of allergen it in/ or it's the kind not absorbed by the body--messing other levels up too!

the result?!! I shut down and do none of it--I did finally get a dairy free probiotic--but am not even confident in the sporatic times I give it to my kids--I also am interested in:
digestive enzymes (do I buy the simple papaya ones from the store?! me thinks not)
vit c--I keep hearing to use this for reactions but know most of the ones I'm looking at at Fred Meyer must have corn or other bad things, etc (in addition to sorbitol- sugars, etc that I don't want)
Zinc supplement (as well as other minerals as I want to learn mroe about this and plan to do the taste test and beet test soon- how much beets needs to be consumed for a 3yo?)
probiotics
any other supps you are all using--please brands and link is possible (as mabe you've already done the homework of the cheapest place online, etc)

another one is vit D

THANKS

I don't know if someone's just added it since this was posted (which I'm guessing is the case) but it's in there as supplement thread by kortner now.
If you're looking for something in particular, there are a WHOLE lot of links in the older chat threads you might be interested in checking out... I really should take the time to go through them and submit appropriate ones to the resources sticky but.. I haven't yet.
