10/6 Roll-call

I saw on the 10/4 thread that there are some exciting things happening...good luck to everyone..especially to those who are "on the clock"

I am stll pg, 41+3 today. For once, I am having a few mild contrations, and had 3 hours of back pain (agony!) last night, but ctx dwindled. I'm not getting excited by any "signs" at this point, BTDT.

When & how often do you get to check in with your HCP's at this point? I am going for my check-up in Fri, but I think I'll call and ask to do a NST also as the midwives haven't mentioned anything and at this point, I would prefer some reassurance that all is OK.

It's a beautiful day out and my other children are at school, so I should go for a walk....but then these twitches in my cervix that have me doubling over might not go down too well in the neighborhood playground...

Well, I was going to put the "labor dust" smiley on here for all of you who still need it, but for some reason my computer won't open the smilies window.

All of you who are waiting so patiently (and not so patiently ) have all my sympathies, my empathy, my love, and my support! You're all doing the best thing for your babies by letting them pick their own birthdays. Those of you being pressured or even 'forced' into inductions, just focus on seeing your beautiful baby!!

Hang in there ladies...and I wish I lived close to some of you, I'd come rub your feet

I'm still here too 41wks4days...who'da thunk? I'm trying to enjoy the last bits of this pregnancy. I've lost my mucus plug so surely something will be up soon? I'm open to everything but attached to nothing in order to stay sane. So far today I have cried (happy tears only) about 4 times and have changed her name twice.

Still here...41 + 6 days. Going for my second attempt at a stretch and sweep tomorrow. The first attempt was a no-go because my cervix was too closed yesterday.

I have not been able to sleep very well because my mind is racing. Now that I have an induction plan for Thursday night, I'm having a bit of a freak out. I want to make the best decision for my baby, but it's so hard to figure out what that is! I should be out walking my butt off, but I've been laying on the couch all morning feeling sorry for myself.

I may try some castor oil on Thursday morning, but I'm a bit scared to try it. I guess by that point I'll be desperate.
