Books about Reggio Emilia?

Thread Starter
I'm looking into preschools for next fall, for DD. We have a Waldorf school up the road (1 mile from home, but they're likely to move soonish), a Montessori school in town, and another one in town which is loosely Reggio-based with a touch of Montessori influence (both about 8 miles/20 minute drive away). I know something about Waldorf and have mixed feelings about it, and I had a really good feeling about the Reggio place... but I would like to know more about the Reggio Emilia approach.

Can anyone here recommend a book which would give me an overview of the philosophy and/or curriculum?

Thanks!

My favorite Reggio Emilia books are: Working in the Reggio Way (a great beginner text) Bringing Reggio Emilia Home: An Innovative Approach to Early Childhood Education (a bit more advanced) and The Hundred Languages of Children (I would suggest having a foundation in RE before starting this one)

Hope that helps!
