Party favors for the older kids?

So my daughter will be turning 5 next month and I'm starting to think about the party. There will be about 10 kids ranging in age from infant to 13.In the past I have made favors for everyone. This year I can't imagine what I would give a 13 yr old boy.But he has a 10 yr old sister.Do I give a favor to the 10 yr old and not the 13 yr old?And then what about the 12 yr old who will be coming with her 3 younger siblings?

What would you do?

Just don't do goody bags.

Or do candy, which everyone will like and won't seem "babyish" to the teenager.

Age appropriate books?

I'm a big fan of things like baked goods with a tag that says "thanks for coming to Whoever's party!" I know a lot of people odn't let their kids eat just any old thing, but in real life it's never been a problem for me. Three m&m cookied tied with a ribbon is a pretty nifty take home.

I try not to give out any candy at her birthday parties because it's only 2 weeks after Halloween and everyone is overloaded.

I like this idea a lot but can't afford it.Whatever they get will be made by me.My daughter wanted a kitty party so I was thinking about making kitty ears and tails for the younger kids.

Gift certificates for ice cream, Jamba Juice etc. are great for across the board ages.

We've done this for both of DD's parties.
