I just wanted to thank everyone here on the boards for their support. It was only a few days ago that I posted nearly in tears about my frustrations with the ring sling I have. I have been practicing pretty much all day with DD and today I actually went grocery shopping with her in it and she didn't cry once and it was a wonderfully encouraging experience.
Thank you everyone for suggestions etc. I am so glad that things are getting better with it. Now the real test will be wearing her with it at the Fryeburg Fair (for those of you ladies who know it) this weekend!
I will still be getting a babyhawk or ergo though, DH wants one and I know that there will be times when I want her securely on my back and I am far from ready for that with a ring sling, plus I think she is supposed to be much older for that.
