So frustrated: Can't wash diapers in my washer!!!!!!

Basically a ranting: I was very stupid because I washed one of my rug that my dog peed on then my washer became clogged and it won't drain water. I called a technician to come and he removed some item from the washer's drain pipe and said it's good to go. I washed diapers and clothes but it still would not drain. I paid 129.00 for the repair and now I don't have any more money to call the tech back! AAARRRGGGGHHHHHH!!! I have been using plastic diapers and it is such a nagging feeling seeing that its such a waste of $$ throwing away diapers and knowing that the cloth diapers are upstairs waiting to be washed. I have gone to laundromat twice and I just don't feel like going there everyday to wash diapers. I feel like using a metal hanger to clear the clogs in the drain pipe myself and hoping it'd work BUT I'm scared to pull a wire or something then it'd be damaged. The washer is only 2 years old and very expensive!

They should come back and fix it for free since it didn't get fixed the first time?

yes i would call and tell them they said they fixed it and they didnt. tell them you want them to fix it or give you your money back. thats a lot for a botched repair.

Are you sure the clog is in the drain pipe? It could very possibly be your machine's pump. There is a catch area in the hose before the pump that is intended to catch all the junk that's get through without clogging the pump but it can get overfull & then stuff gets into the pump. It's actually pretty easy to fix but can be finicky.

On my machine (you may want to check the owners manual of yours) you have to remove the front panel. On either side of the hose is a clamp that undoes by squeezing the two ends on it. Once you remove the clamps any water in the hose will come out (so have some spare towels handy). Once the hose is removed you can easily clean all the junk out. Then just reassemble everything & it will hopefully be good to go.

The rug may just have been the last straw for your machine. My Mom owns a laundromat & she says that bra underwires & baby socks are the biggest problems - they are usually the culprits (along with change) for clogging things up.
