Elimination diet incoming?

Ds is 12 weeks old now. He has always had some gas/fussiness issues but nothing too bad.

His 'milk rash' from the hormone changes never really went away which was my first hmm is something wrong here thought.

I had a half a cup of cappucino yesterday morning. By mid-day he started straining a lot like he felt like he had to poo & during our nap he go very clammy & was whining/crying like his tummy hurt in his sleep. About an hour later he had a horrible smelling green mucus poop.

Does this sound like allergies to anyone else? I already 'block' feed since he won't nurse off any breast but the left.

I guess I'll just do the elimination diet & see how that goes. His older sister was tested for food allergies years ago & came back with a TON of sensitivities. Idk if it's something she got from me though, they both have different fathers & I've never had an allergic reaction to any food.

The first thing I would eliminate is dairy. Also I think some babies are sensitive to caffeine.

I agree. Start with dairy first and then go from there.

I'd have to say dairy, too. In my case, it took almost 2 months completely dairy-free before my baby's symptoms (constipation) went away. And I had been eating very little dairy to begin with.
It's hard, I feel your pain.
