If you wear makeup, how do you get it off at night?

I need a new face wash. Tell me your method. I don't care if it is homemade or store bought. I just want something that takes off the makeup and is gentle. TIA!

Raw honey. It makes my face soft, gets everything off (even eye make up), and smells great.

Subbing. I used to wear only mascara, but stopped when I couldn't find anything decent to get it off with!

I don't always wear makeup. When I do, I wash with Jason's rosewater hand and face "soap" (I am not looking at the container to see exactly what term is on it) at night. It removes makeup and leaves my skin feeling good. I spritz on rosewater as a toner/refresher/wetness and then apply a few drops of a homemade oil blend as moisturizer.

I have a mix of random face washes in the shower and use the rosewater in the mornings followed by a mix of random SPF face lotions. I'm using up the harsher commercial products in a mix of more gentle ones until all the harsher ones are gone. I like some homemade items thus far and my plan is to reduce my personal care items drastically.

I like castor oil for make up removal and OCM.

Hmn...see the honey didn't work for me to remove makeup. I don't wear much either but my mascara never came off all the way. Makes a nice mask though!

I started doing the OCM a few months ago and it is great for me. I make a mixture of about 15% castor oil 85% Org Sunflower Oil (I have it in the pantry already and it isn't sticky). I add a few drops of EOs. I love that it removes my makeup, leaves my skin very soft, and if I do feel I need a little more moisture I can just rub in a couple extra drops of the oil mixture. ETA I do use other moisture products but the oil is a nice base and I can get by with just that.

Before that I used Aveda's Purifying Creme Cleanser for years and still have some around for lazy days.

I wash my face with very diluted Dr. Bronner's and have found that on the rare occasion that do I wear makeup.. the Bronner's mix takes it off pretty easily.

For eye makeup I use about 5 parts water to 1 part Johnson's baby shampoo. Works great. Then when I wash my face to get the foundation off I just use a mild soap, sometimes organic, sometimes Dove soap whichever I have on hand. About once a week after I wash my face I'll apply witch hazel as a toner and extra cleanser.

Olay Daily Facials cut into quarters to make a 30 day supply last 120 days. It's not the most natural or environmental choice, but it works for me.

I have been doing this for the past several years (cutting them in half though) and I have loved it. It gets off my mascara and does not sting your eyes in the least. I found them the cheapest at Costco.

I am trying to be more green, so when my current supply of Olay cloths runs out I am going to try the "Magic Mitt" by Jane Iredale. It is a micro-fiber cloth You just get it wet to use it - no cleanser needed!

I used to use these. Then I discovered that baby wipes do the same thing - I use the sensitive skin kind. Way cheaper, and my skin looks so much better.

I'm too lazy to stand at the sink and wash my face.

The best I ever used was Shu Uemura cleansing oil. Not exactly cheap Though the free samples tend to be easy to get and you only need a small dab and my face has never been better. I have been looking into olive oil as an alternative when my samples run out. I also like the Olay cleansing cloths but only get them on sale and cut them up as well. I cannot use their regular scented ones and I also have to be careful because they dry out my face.
