I've attempted mayo several times, with liquid results. This time I looked at many recipes & even watched a couple videos & still I have liquid mayo, Why? I'm using a stick blender as recommended, can I save this liquid mayo? I tried adding another yolk, no change, I tried adding more oil still no good, Help me please! I want to stop buying mayo!

with a stick blender, I'd guess you're not blending it long enough. Or try starting with only the egg and 1/2 or 1/4 of the oil, and then slowly adding in the rest once you've established the emulsification.
With a food processor, if you wound up with liquid, then you have to start again from scratch, and you can add your failed batch in halfway once the emulsion is working.

Thanks cristeen! I used the advice to the tee that you gave in this thread For the first time I have successfully made may that is the right consistency & I'm so grateful that I didn't have to throw away the failed batch! The videos with the stick blender show that you can add the oil all at once, but obviously that didn't work for me. I redid the batch & added it really slowly dripping it down the side of the stick blender & it worked I'm so happy! Thanks again
