Anyone else experience this? My DD has been a poop grad for at least 6 months, but pee is a whole different thing. A large part of it is that she's going through some big developmental stuff right now, and has been sick a few times this month, but it seems like a long time to have one part down and the other part not. Just wondering if this was a typical EC experience.

I guess we could be considered "poop grads". We've been ec'ing since birth (4 days) and have had maybe a handful of poopy diapers, only maybe 2 of which she actually pooped in fully.
She NEVER poops in a diaper anymore (she's 4 months), even a little bit...but pee is a different story since she started crawling, which has really thrown things off.
Now if she doesn't have a diaper on, she'll just pee and move along, and only lets you know if she's having trouble getting out of her little pee puddle, lol. I told Dh maybe she feels like she doesn't need our help anymore since she doesn't have to be wet even if she doesn't communicate her need to eliminate to us.

totally normal. both my older two who are long since grads were poo grads loooong before they were done having pee misses. and we were late-starters and did it part-time. like well more than half a year from last poo miss to last pee miss, and it had been ages and ages since poo misses were a regular thing long before the very last one. with my LO, who was EC'd from 2 weeks of age, it's alway been rare to miss poo, except for the occasional string of misses around teething, learning to walk, and a tummy bug.
it seems totally logical to me. i mean, you kind of have to 'work' on a poo a little bit, kwim? relax and let some muscles go. so you usually have quite a lot of warning between "i have to go" and "i'm going" unless you're stricken with diarrhea. so it's much easier to 'hold it' long enough to get to a potty. pee is a little sneakier
it is a lot easier for a busy baby/toddler to get surprised by.
i think people who do conventional potty training have it the reverse because older kids develop a fear of letting the poo go in the potty. and EC kids, of course, never have that.

Same here - can't remember the last poop miss, but had 2 pee misses this am. My 20 month old son says "poop!" just before he needs to go (or when he wants to delay bedtime!) and can wait til we get to the toilet of his choosing, but routinely says "pee!" while in progress, interestedly observing the growing puddle at his feet.
For a day with no misses, it's all about me staying on timing for pees, and him letting me know for poops.
