So, are we going to have one of 'those' girls?

You know - the one who shows up to their 6wk appt and is PREGNANT??? I've been having nightmares about it

I know we have a few stragglers who are still preggers (sorry, girls ), but for the most part - this is the next suprise I'm anticipating...there's always ONE, yk?

Of course, nursing greatly reduces the chances, but it could happen!

Anyways, I call - NOT it!

Not it!!

It would literally be a miracle if it was me...first of all, hubby had his vas (although he hasn't completed his post-procedure "tests" yet), AND I yet again have stitches, so I doubt we'll be doing anything before 6 weeks anyway!

Not it!! DH says he has cut ME off until he gets his vasectomy LOL I'll just let him believe that he is in control here

Not me man. My husband is only going to be home two weeks. Even I am not THAT fertile.

It happened to a girl on another board I was on when DS was newborn... she had just had her fourth baby, and was pregnant with TWINS a month later. I seriously couldn't imagine...

me too

FYI if your babe sleeps more than a 4 hour strech you could ovulate eeek

Considering how long and hard we fought for this little one, I'd be beyond shocked if it were me... but I can't say I'd be too terribly sorry about it.

But, that would also require allowing DH anywhere near me, and we're not to that point yet.

id be pretty surprised considering that it took me over 2 years to get my fertility back last time... breastfeeding really seems to work well as birth control for me.

but i think we had one in my last DDC.

Not it!!! AF came back at about 15 months PP last time. I don't see us DTD before 6 weeks anyway.

Good Lord, that would be a lot to process. I need to figure out some form of non-hormonal birth control...lol.

NOT IT! I have 2 nurslings already. I am not DTD before 6 weeks anyway.

Not me!!

I'm scheduled for my followup appointent next week, at which point I will either have a copper IUD or a TL... (yep, still struggling with this issue, I was so SURE about the TL until a week ago. Grr.)

Since there were many stitches involved in repairing significant tearing during delivery, nothing will be happening before then. Heck, nothing may happen before next year.

not it!!!

would require some action other than bf in the bedroom... and like a few others, stitches and DTD are not compatible.

Not me!!! I follow the 6 week rule!

Last night, DH and I were having some non-intercourse fun. I'm 4 weeks PP. DH says to me "do we have to wait the full six weeks?" and I quoted:

DH got real quiet.

My LO definitely has stretches at night that go past 4 hours of no nursing. I am not taking chances- I was pregnant long enough this time!

Not me!!

dh goes in for his vasectomy tomorrow and I am pretty confident that we will go w/out until his lab work comes back clear. He is convinced we are done and I'm fine with that too. We are fortunate to have the children we do.

My velcro baby won't let us near each other, so it's not going to be me! Plus, I've started charting already.

I've already made it to my 6 week appointment..but I still want to chime in "not it".. still trying to figure out what our long term plan for bc will be..

Not sure what our long term bc is going to be either. For now, abstinence sounds really good to me!
