unbleached indian prefolds

So I have prepped my UBIPF I got from cotton babies. I boiled for 20 minutes rung them out well and washed and dried twice. They strunk up a lot and quilted up nicely. I am disappointed that they are not as soft as I imagined. I bought unbleached mostly because it was supposed to be so much softer. Should they be washed more? I hoped this was enough considering that I boiled first. They look ever bit as quilty as any pics I have seen online.

Another thing I did not expect is how long they took to dry. I hoped to get some fitteds as well, but as long as the pfs took to dry completely in the middle, I'm not so sure. Any tips?

You can use them now but they wont be at there prime yet honestly even with boiling they wont really be primed till after at least 1 so so washes. So just enjoy change more often at first and now they will totally countinue to fluff up and soften over time.
