Any harms of Seventh Gen diapers??

I know Seventh Generation brand diapers claim to be non-harmful, etc. But does anyone know of any potentially harmful or debatable ingredients used in these dipes?

Don't they still use the gel?

Yes, they use the SAP gel.

So the only difference is they are not bleached with chlorine? Is that correct?

Other than that they are the same with the same issues as other disposables.

Can you mamas please tell me what the concerns are with SAP gel? (Or other of the same issues with disposables). I am just really unfamiliar. Thanks.

The "Pampers are evil" thread has a lot of information. I think one concern is that the chemicals in the SAP gel can cause respiratory problems.

We've used a lot og 7th gen wuth DS. But really, it a sposie like all the others with a bit less of an enviro vhoice. I also like the plain commercial free bottom.

We've also used and like gdiapers buy only size medium an up. Same gel but much, much lower enviro footprint. They were our intro to cloth.

We now use gdiapers with cloth inserts for PL toddler and cloth for infant. It is so much easier than I expected. I am kind of love with fuzzi bunz.
