Measles benefits info

Thread Starter
I know I read it here somewhere but I can't seem to find it.... I have the article about how measles was observed to shrink tumors in children in the 70's and they're doing some research on that....

What I'm looking for is information on how having measles as a child reduces the likelihood of getting some kind of adult cancer later in life (I think it was ovarian that I read about but I could be wrong). Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Thanks!

There has been a link found between mumps vaccination and ovarian cancer. http://www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov/pic...5&blobtype=pdf

There has also been a link found between surviving measles infection and this contributing to an improved survival rate overall.

Before people get too excited and jump on the correlation does not equal causation bandwagon, neither of these studies proove anything, but do highlight that there is the possibly there are unexpected risks associated with vaccines and unexpeted benefits associated with the disease itself.
