Best time to do nursing bra fitting?

So last time, I went for a fitting when I was 35 weeks or so. Didn't have a great experience...besides having a very rushed actual measuring part of my fitting, as well as tons of pressure to buy everything right then & there (with no return policy), I ended up with about 10 very expensive bras that were ALL too small when DD was born.

I am going to be visiting Upper Breast Side in NYC this time around but am wondering when the right time is to get the best fitting? Should I wait till DD#2 arrives or can I get an accurate fitting a few weeks before?

I am 23 w, still nursing DD#1 (2y) but only for her nap, bedtime & sometimes early am. I think my right side is done & that maybe there is a little something in the left side, which she has favored for awhile now. I have spent the past 2 years in the ill fitting bras & nursing tanks & don't even know what size I am anymore. I also didn't lose 25 lbs that I should've before this pregnancy so I am sure that factors in as well.

TIA for any advice/feedback!

I don't think it's possible to get one size that's going to take you through nursing.

I was always huge for a week when my milk came in. All I could do was wear a tank top with a towel stuffed in to catch the milk during that time. Then the size that worked from about week 3, was too big by 9 months.

(But I'm not big normally, so I was able to make do with nursing bras from the department store)
