What is everyones favorite cover for trifolding prefolds? Why?

We use the mommy's touch one size covers. I also have a motherease cover which is the last to be used 'cause I just don't like it & we had some kushies ones which I gave away I found them so terrible.

Bummis

I voted Bummis Super Whisper Wrap, but we actually use Bummis Super Snap.

They hold up really well, the snaps last longer than the aplix, the little pocket at the front holds the prefold in place while you're getting the diaper on, and the elastics are covered and we haven't had issues with irritation around the legs.

Of the other covers on your list I've used Prowraps, Motherease, Imse Vimse, and the aplix bummis. I've also got a couple of stacinators, some Bumkins, some Bummis pull-on whisper pants, some type of cover from Blue Penguin, and one type of side snapping cover that I can't remember the name of.

I loved my Imse Vimse Soft covers. They fit really snuggly without being tight around his legs, they had a nice high rise, and they felt soft and cottony even though they are polyester. I hated BSWW. We have some Thirsties right now and they are similar to the Imse Vimse, but imo not as well made. The velcro tabs are pulling out and we only use them a couple times a week.

Of those, the ones I have tried are Bummis SWW, Thirsties sized, Mother-ease Rikki Wrap, Wiggleworm Bottom, Proraps, and Bumpy Soft. I voted for BSWW because they're my favorites--they fit dd really well and the Velcro didn't scratch her. The Rikkis, Proraps and Bumpy Softs worked fine too. The WWB leaked and I didn't like the inner materials. Thirsties were an absolutely horrid fit on dd--and she was pretty average sized so I am shocked that they are so popular.

My real favorites for trifolding, though, are Blue Penguin wrap 'n snaps.

BSWW - They hold the pf in place nice and snug, and they don't have the slick inner that would touch baby's skin with trifolding. I like Thirsties and BSB really well, but sometimes the slick inner leaves my little one feeling clammy.

I voted Bummis Super Brite and Other, other being Booroi covers. They're side-snapping which I love and I can lay an infant PF, a flat or a GMD red-edge in the medium cover.

I voted Thirsties sized, but I also like Bummis SWW and Swaddlebees.

I like the Bummis-- I like Super Brite better because it's thinner. I also like the Rikki. The Proraps always left red marks on my kids' legs. I don't like Thirsties-- they always sagged in the front for us (major wing-droop problem), which is fine for girls but with a boy DS was always leaking up front.
The Bumpy and Imse Vimse covers are great, too, but I never trifolded in them, mostly just because we had them only in newborn size, and I like a Snappi at that age to contain liquid poo.

My favorite trifolding diaper by far, though, is the Original Bummis, which is white nylon, not PUL, with a net inner that keeps the diaper from slipping. It's a trim fit that holds a trifolded diaper very well. It doesn't have leg gussets, which is a problem if you're dealing with very liquid poo, though.

I love our thirsties sized covers. I haven't tried the new ones, they hadn't come out yet when I was buying covers.
