Front Load Washer

What detergent do you use for your dipers in your FL?
How do you strip your diaper in your FL?

I use a combo of AIO, covers and fitteds, and prefolds. I usually wash daily. I am getting some stink in some of my fitteds.

Just looking for tips.

FL Washing

I've been cloth diapering for 5.5 years and washing in a front loader. I've never had to strip our diapers.

We use Persil soap, which is not generally mentioned on the list of soaps that are considered good or bad for cloth. I wash in very hot water though, 205 F (95 C). I think that's been the key for us.

Our front loader also has the option to add extra water, which I use for the diaper load.

I've used Gain HE, Tide HE, and Sportwash in my front loader. They all worked okay. Occasionally I got stink in stuff with polyester content. Usually washing smaller loads more often and sunning did the trick. Sometimes I would use twice the amount of detergent, then run an entire extra cycle with no detergent at all.

I'm still trying to tweak the routine! We use Country Save.
I rinse with cold water, then wash with all hot water. Sunning for stains, etc.
Right now occasionally I have some smell issues so I just do another wash.
