yup this has been posted several times in the swine flu thread...this law exsists on the books of most states already (it has been on my state's books since 2005). It would only happen if the govenor declared a state of emergency from a pandemic. but yes I agree...it is very very creepy!

It's not law yet; a joint bill needs to be drafted and passed. One rep has only heard from 90 constituents.

House and Senate leaders now will develop a compromise bill that would need to be approved again in each branch before it goes to the governor for his signature.

Wow, what is the US coming to? At 113-63 was it, those odds aren't in favor if the next bill goes like that. Wonder how long it will take.
