Reactions to Hepatitis B Vaccination ???

A little history ..

My son was delivered by emergency c-section after being stuck in the birth canal with decelarating heartbeat and me pushing for 6 hours .. his head looked awful of course but otherwise he was healthy got 8 and 9 on apgar scores .. at 2 days of life he started having seizures (I saw his first one after he supposedly slept 11 hours in the nursery but when I took him back for the blue episode the nurse said well he's been doing that all night) ... He got the hepatitis B shot but when we transferred to a NICU his records were not transferred with him and the dr.s at the NICU didn't know (neither did I) they took our son for hours to do hearing test (not done) .. circumsion (not done) .. newborn screening (not done) but he did get the Vitamin K shot as well as the Hepatitis B shot .. I have been told me attempting to deliver vaginally caused him to have 4 hemorrages on his brain but the more I research and read the more concerned I am it may have been a reaction to the Hepatitis B shot as well (we haven't vaccinated since and don't plan to ever vaccinate this child) .. just wondering if anyone has any info .. My son was vacuum assisted at birth and was in the NICU for five days. He nursed without any difficulties. Never really cried during his hospitalization. The day of discharge, he was given the Hep B (without our consent). He began projectile vomiting within hours, incessantly crying, and began having difficulties nursing (to the point that we had to have four sessions with a lactation consultant) to get him to nurse again. Our problems only continued to get worse...to an eventual autism diagnosis among other things.

Did the seizures begin before or after the Hep B vax? Seizures are a well documented side effect from vaccines. Are you asking if the "4 hemorrages on his brain" might have been due to the vaccine and not the distress during labor? Did you say he received TWO hep B vaxes when he was only supposed to get one? How old was he at each? Didn't you have to sign a consent form? I'd be aghast if my baby got two at this age (really, isn't one bad enough!) They had you pushing for 6 hrs? (wow!) What did you mean when you said "when I took him back for the blue episode the nurse said well he's been doing that all night" ???

He received the first vaccination the first night after his birth and he started having seizures during the 2nd night then he received another shot at 5days old since nobody knew about the first and no I did not consent to anything ... At 8:30 when I went to the nursery I came back and laid him in DH's lap and a few minutes later DH said "Brandi he's blue" .. so I thought he might be choking (although he wasn't eating or using a pacy that was just all I thought about with a blue baby) .. well I tried to get him to breath and when he finally started back we put him in his bassinet and wheeled him back to the nurses station/nursery I said he just turned blue and she looked at me and said "well he's been doing that all night I was hoping it wasn't anything major" but at 8:30 she told me he had slept for 11 hours (yea right) they came to get him for circumsion around 7pm around 11pm I started hemorraging and had to have blood and alot of medical crazy was going on so I didn't see him until I woke up at 8:30 and went to get him ... and yes they let me push for 6 hours and when they finally did the c-section we realized his bag of water was sealed around his neck therefore he couldn't pass through my birth canal they also used forceps to push him back up in me - I found all this out when we talked to our lawyer and got them to review the records ... I honestly think the nurse dropped him b/c of how secretive she was and how they kept him hid and then wouldn't transfer his records then when we got them 1 1/2 years later there were sections missing that we clearly remember ... he had the cone shaped head but our neurologist told us he looked as if he had slammed head on into a tree at 100mph from the amount of bleeding and were they were located she didn't believe that could happen from pushing him out unless he was being SLAMMED fullforce against something and ofcourse he wasn't .. she said no human could push that hard .. it honestly looked as if he had been slammed into a wall the bleeding covered his whole brain and now most of his right side is dead (although he is absolutely normal) ...

Crying after reading this. I hope you find answers and healing. I've always perceived seizures as common side effects to vaccination but with your babe also having trauma during the delivery and possibly being harmed by the staff it will be hard to sort it out.
