My boobs are awesome!!

We had our first pediatrician visit today, so Ethan got weighed for the first time since leaving the hospital. At birth he was 9 lbs 7 oz. 48 hrs later he was 9 lbs 1 oz. Today he was a whopping 10 lbs 4 oz!!

I pumped tonight...first I fed him three times in a row on the same side (the feedings weren't full feedings, he does mini-nursings sometimes and I try to keep him on the same side until I feel it starting to soften) then I pumped that same side and I got 2 ounces!!! I put my first bag of milk in the freezer today, and it had 4 ounces in it (plus I gave 2 to Ian to drink) and I got ridiculously proud of myself for that He's not even a week old yet, he's already over birth weight, AND I'm starting my freezer stash! And I'm tandeming even! I love my boobs

I have five 4 oz bags frozen so far at 11 days PP, and I really haven't tried to concentrate on storing much yet. I'm not sure how much the little squirt weighs, but I'm pretty sure he's past his birth weight. He goes to see the ped Monday.

It feels so good to know we are providing such wholesome stuff for our little babes. And it's ALL they need.

yeah!!! With all the trouble we've had feeding, DS still managed to gain a pound in his between his first week and second week appointments.

It's amazing to think that everything he is at this point some how came from me!

Go boobies! We're doing well in that department, too. Yesterday at the ped, Katie was 1 oz over her birthweight of 8lb 14oz at 4 days old. And I've frozen 4 oz so far.

Yay! We are doing well over here too, Zoe was 6 lbs 11 oz at birth on Monday the 21st, 6 lbs 3 oz that Friday at the ped, and then 8 lbs 5 oz on Wednesday for her 2-week check! Gained over 2 lbs in just a little over a week!
