Food cravings

I want a hotdog. Grilled. On a bun with mayonnaise.

I haven't had a hotdog on a bun in years. I actually do have some hotdogs in the house but nothing even remotely resembling a bun (I keep gluten free). Somehow rolling it up in a corn tortilla doesn't have the same effect. I don't even like hotdogs normally.

Anyone else starting to really really want weird things?

When I was pregnant with Sara during the last trimester, I craved TexMex foods. I guess I'm starting earlier with this one, because I can't drive by Margarita's or go past the mexican isle in the grocery store without drooling...

Mexican food always sounds good...
But I have been craving (and eating) hazelnuts like they're going out of style. My favorite nut when I was a kid, but haven't had them since then... Can't get enough of them so far...

orange things. Orange juice, oranges, orange soda (yuck! So bad for me I know, but it settles my tummy...), I even bought orange sweet rolls for breakfast tomorrow (like cinnamon rolls but orange-y.
Its so weird!
That, and I start every morning with toast and SunButter (peanut butter replacement made from sunflower seeds, my DD has a severe nut allergy).

All I crave is BEEF! Good thing I'm not a vegetarian or else I'd be in trouble!

Really though, I'm pretty hungry alot. Like, I get STARVING and I never usually feel hungry like that. Today I ate some frosted mini-wheats (whole grains, I thought I would feel fuller) and a glass of milk at 10:30 and then by noon I was so hungry that I ate an entire package of avocado rolls while I grocery shopped. Then I ate almost a whole bag of soy crisps. I'm so hungry!

I've got that kind of hungry too. I go from zero to ZOMG I'M STARVING in sixty seconds. Every two hours, it seems.

I just had a weird craving for Top Ramen. But I'm at a loss because I'm a vegetarian, and the only vegetarian brand is made in the same facility as tree nuts, so I can't have it because I'm nursing DD2 with a severe nut allergy.
I have some "vegetarian chicken broth" powder, I wonder if I used the noodles from a nut-safe but meat flavored brand and that powder, if it would taste ok? the things we come up with pregnant, huh?
