About two weeks ago my father's father died. I didn't know this grandfather very well and I'm sad we never spent a lot of time together. I am grateful he was able to be at my wedding four years ago though.
Today we lost my mother's father. He had heart surgery and didn't make it out of recovery even though his surgery went well.
They both lived in my country of origin and attending their funerals is/was not possible for me.
I wish I had gotten the chance to introduce DS to them.
I have no grandparents left now.
