I posted about my zucchini issue a little while back, I have had a huge issue with blossom end rot. The fruit seemed to be growing well, but suddently the blossom end stopped growing (the stem end still grew) and turned yellow. I tried the epsom salts trick, and even did it again since they are potted and i figured lots will get lost faster due to that? But they are STILL doing it.. there are a dozen zukes on the plants that are just pathetic and soft now. Any other ideas or should i just give up on zukes? (I don't want to, because we love to eat them, but maybe they don't do well in pots..even big ones?)
Now on to cucumbers... the entire plant is turning yellow? They are in a container, not an overly large one. They are growing up the 'trellis' nicely and have tons of flowers... but suddenly all the leaves are going pale & yellow.. and the one cuke on there (was tiny) shriveled up. Suggestions??

Whilst the kids & I browsed the seedlings and such, hubby hit up the garden centre guy about why would my cuke plants go completely yellow and he suggested we make a compost 'tea' using a nice sized scoop of the 5 in1 organic fertilizer we already have in a bucket of water and give that to the plants weekly until they start perking up & looking better. We shall see how we go with that.
He's a little dragon lover. We got some good soil that's just for growing fruit & veggies, organic with all the good stuff in it.. so hopefully that will get my maters off to a good start.
