Ouch! Fell the stairs when trying to come down for a snack!

I worked my 12hr shift today, came home entertained my 2yo for a few hours, actually accomplished shaving in the shower (with the 2yo and her toys), finally made it to bed.....woke up for a snack and BOOM!

It hurt bad. I fell on my butt hard. It feels like one of the steps went right up my tailbone. It took my breath away. Its still hurting after laying on my side for an hour. Baby is moving the same, I think. I have an OB appt in the am. Do you think baby is ok?

Ouch! Poor mama!

I took a big fall like that in my 7th month (right onto my back when I slipped on a wet tile floor). The worst part for me was that I hit my head hard enough to have dizziness for the next 2-3 days (I did get checked out because of that, of course).

The baby was fine, though -- they're pretty well-cushioned. I'd say continue being attentive to movements and also call your hcp right away if you have any bleeding. Otherwise you're already going to be checked tomorrow morning, so that will help.

ouch!!!
I'd say that having your appointment today should be enough, but if you are concerned it can't hurt to call your hcp now.
And take it easy today and tomorrow -- on the couch and resting!

Ouch! I'm sorry! Sounds like your baby is okay though if movement is normal

Oh no! I'm so sorry... as if you need the pain or the stress of wondering if your LO is OK. Let us know what the doc says...

I felt a lot more movement last night so I could finally go to sleep. Heartbeat sounded fine today. No worries. Except I have some major pain in my tailbone. I'm sure this will make labor even more exciting

I'm glad baby is fine though. I just kept thinking about how awful it would be to carry this long and have something go wrong. Scary thoughts.

Glad everything is alright.
Hope that tailbone is just bruised a bit and is feeling better by the time you get into labor! Feel better!
