Packing for a trip? Help!

DD will be 11 months old when we go on a 3 week trip together to meet her cousins (and I get to see my brother and sister, yay!). I don't want to check any bags because it costs $ now . We've been EC'ing right from the start and are usually pretty good especially when it's just her and me and especially when we're away from home.

At home we usually do CDs, a prefold and a cover, or go nakey butt if it's nice enough out. We've had fewer than 10 poop misses in the last 6 months, but tend to have a couple pee misses a day (though not always in a diaper).

So the question is what to bring? My brother has a bunch of diapers but my sister doesn't have any. I was thinking of getting a package of gdipes, just the refills, to use in my CD covers while we're actually on the plane.

How many diapers should I bring? I really don't want to under OR overpack! I guess if it were a day of nothing but misses and we were in dipes all day she'd probably pee...8 times in a diaper?

What do you think?

The G-dipes are super convenient to pack because they don't take up a lot of space, I only recommend them to people who's babies poo on the potty though because I've had some pretty messy messy business happen with them. I also use the Motex Oko biodegradable ones (they contain poo much better) but it's pretty much all the same. I am planning a 3 week trip to mexico and am having the same debate because it's a long trip and I still miss a poo here and there soooooo...I'm thinking Moltex for actual traveling (planes, cars, and whatever else) and G diapers for day to day non-beachy activites. It's a good challenge to be more in-tune and save those precious diapers because once i'm out, it means huggies (Ouache!!!!)
