Poop... I'll be out of town on 11/7. That's DD1's birthday and we're going back up to Peoria.
Can I put in a request for the following Sat? DH will be OOT so some interaction with other adults would be welcome.

We used to live in that area and visited that side of Hampton (the nice side ) every Halloween! Soooo MUCH fun! We're in Wildwood now. Looking forward to actually handing out candy this year. We lived at Eichelberger and Hampton and maybe saw one or two kids. It was awful.

We could do November 7th! What time and where? You mentioned Hartford. Where is that?

I will possibly be going to the Lake of the Ozarks that weekend with my mom and MIL - girls weekend getaway. We try to do one every year and she is only available that weekend in November.

We could probably do the 7th. Hartford Coffee is on Hartford in the Tower Grover neighborhood. If the rain finally stops, maybe we could play at the park? If it's not to chilly either....

Looks like we're free either the 7th or 14th. Not going to the Lake now. Just not in the mood for it.

Hartford Coffee - gotcha. I'm semi-familiar with that area. I'm sure we'll be able to find it.

Hope more can come!

So, shall we make it for the 7th? What time works for everyone? 9am? 10am? Also, at the Hartford Coffee place, are there things for the LO's to do - like a kids play area? I've been there before.

I can probably make it on the 7th between 10 and 10:30.

I am wondering which side is the good side of Hampton and assuming I live on the "not good" side.

The one with the really nice houses - on the side with St. Francois park - are the ones that my H and I have always referred to as the 'nice side' of Hampton. We lived on the opposite side - between Macklind and Brannon - next to some four family flats.

I'll check with my H to see if he's playing soccer during that time. We'll connect mid week?

Well I live on the good side then but in a junky apartment building with a slumlord running the show! We a few blocks from the amazing houses. My "dream house" is over there but I assume it costs about 350,000 more than my budget.

I just visited the area you used to live in and there are some great houses over there.

I hope the 7th ends up working out for people.

I'm going to try to make it next weekend. I have no plans so far.

And thanks for the Halloween suggestion. We had fun trick or treating on Nottingham. Except for the fact that all of the houses have a bunch of steps and my 2 year old wanted carried around everywhere.

It's supposed to be really nice on Saturday, too, so the park will work out great. So far, it's saying partly cloudy and a high of 64!

I think 10 will work best for us.

I may not be able to make it. Our afternoon is already booked and I'm not sure I'll be able to come out that way (we're in Wildwood). You ladies have fun and I'll try to catch up next time!!
