With my first, I did not even think about names until she was born. I then chose her name within about 2 days but took a few weeks before sening in the paperwork to be sure.
This time, I have been thinking about names since before I even got pregnant. It took me a long time to achieve this pregnancy so I guess I was trying to prevent myself from going crazy by spending time on something light like names instead of the lack of baby in my uterus.
So I now have a list. For girls, I have a short list I am likely to stick to. For boys, I am all over the place, but I still have somewhat of a list. I think this one is much more likely to change over the next months.
I want any name I chose to have either a first or middle name that is unisex in case my child wants to identify as the other gender or if they want to be genderless.
