We have cooing "conversations" that just warm me through

dd- "mmm-mmm"
me-"mmm-m-mm"

and so on and so forth

Aww...so sweet! I love nursing my baby too, but I miss those coos and giggles!! He used to give me the sweetest smiles when he nursed, and now that he's a little older (9months!!) he just flirts with me! He'll stop nursing, look at my nipple, look at me out of the corner of his eye - and then when he sees me watching him he gets the biggest happiest, cutest grin on his face! And then he goes back to nursing - and this repeats until he's full!

I love nursing!

DD os usually cooing at the boob and not at me.

Or she's trying to chew on her toes and nurse at the same time.

Mine cries with a mouthful of boob. While latched and actively sucking and swallowing:

"mmwwwwhhh *gulp* mmmmwwwhhhh *gulp* mmmmwwhwhh *gulp*"

it's pretty hard not to laugh.

DH calls this "the ode to the boob". They are so happy that if they knew how it would be a song or poetry. It's their beautiful spontaneous love and joy. Makes BF worth it all by itself!!!

caden does this too lol

earlier when i was feeding caden i realised i'd fed him the same side twice and was leaking on the opposite side so i asked if he wanted to change to the other side and he shook his head and pointed to the breast he was feeding from then smacked the opposite breast lol

Mine LO has recently found his voice too. I enjoyed the talk, eat, talk, eat sessions. But, now that's all he wants to do is talk. He's too excited to eat, so for most of the day he barely eats, but at night when he's too tired for the game he'll eat. Unfortunately he eats every two hours at night now and can go six hours in the day. I still love breastfeeding though, but I would like some more sleep.

DD will pull back from the boob, look up at me and wait for me to look at her, then she'll give them this huge smile. I love it!!! It totally makes my heart melt. Then she'll do this shy, bashful duck back down to the boobie.

She'll also need my breast with her hands. DH thinks it's hysterical. She's like a little kitten. And sometimes when she gets really into her feeding, she'll slap her little hand against my breast. LOL The first time she did that, DH was so shocked "Did she just hit you?!" DD is only 13 weeks...

awwww, I love your stories, so sweet. My boys were/are power eaters they don't have time for fun and games when they nurse, they always latch on like it's their last meal. LOL
